Mathys Tel is the player making the most headlines as we head into the final days of the transfer window.
Indeed, a number of big teams in the Premier League are looking at signing Mathys Tel this month.
Tottenham want to sign Tel, while Tel himself is keen on Manchester United.
Arsenal have also been linked with Tel recently, while Chelsea admire the Bayern Munich youngster too.
With just days to go in the transfer window, this one will need to move quickly, and according to Ronan Murphy, speaking on The Transfers Podcast, Bayern Munich would ideally now loan the player out rather than sell him permanently.

Bayern Munich want to loan Mathys Tel
Murphy shared what he knows about Tel’s situation.
The journalist says that Bayern initially wanted to loan Tel to another Bundesliga club, but now, it looks like a Premier League move is on the cards.
However, the German giants are still hoping to do just a loan move rather than a permanent sale.
“And Bayern Munich, they were hoping that maybe they could loan Tel to someone in the Bundesliga and they would be able to keep an even closer eye on Tel,” Murphy said.
“They get a better feeling of how he can play in the Bundesliga on a regular basis because a lot of the time at Bayern Munich, he has not been played in his preferred position because obviously Bayern Munich have Harry Kane, so they’re not going to drop Harry Kane for Tel.
“So Tel has sometimes been pushed out wide or been played off Harry Kane rather than through the middle where he would prefer, I think. So, yeah, they had hoped that a Bundesliga team would come in.
But Tel himself and his agent, I think, is pushing for a move to a Premier League club where he can prove himself to be at a higher level and Bayern Munich are hoping that it would be a loan move, but I know there are talks over loan move and permanent move.”
Previous Bayern Munich transfers to the Premier League
Bayern Munich are one of the biggest clubs in the world, but, strangely, many of their exports to the Premier League don’t work out too well.
Indeed, while Bayern Munich is often the home to many of the world’s top talents, players who make the move from Bavaria to England very rarely perform well.

Marcel Sabitzer’s spell at Manchester United was largely forgettable, Renato Sanches was a disaster during his time at Swansea City, while Bastian Schweinsteiger had a strange experience at Manchester United.
Owen Hargreaves had terrible luck with injuries at Manchester United, as did Thiago at Liverpool, while the less said about Jan Kirchoff the better.
Michael Ballack was very good for Chelsea, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was solid during his time in England, but they’re the best of the bunch.
Premier League teams may want to tread carefully when pursuing a deal for Tel, especially if it’s on a permanent basis.
