Real Madrid are coasting towards another victory in this dominant season, having now gone 2-0 up against Granada.
After a sloppy start to the match, Los Blancos hit the front seven minutes before half time, with Fran Garcia firing home his first goal for the club. The Spanish left-back was highly involved in the second too, which has been scored by Arda Guler moments before the interval.
After being played in by Brahim Diaz, Garcia’s cutback found Guler, who took one touch before firing beyond Augusto Batalla in the Granada goal. It’s the Turkish teenager’s second in three matches, having also netted against Real Sociedad two weeks ago.
Real Madrid are flexing their muscles now, and with 45 minutes still to go in this one, the points should already be wrapped. Carlo Ancelotti will be very pleased with his side’s performance so far, and he will want them to add more goals in the second half.
