Vinicius Junior’s recovery from a hamstring injury is progressing well, raising hopes for an earlier return to action with Real Madrid than initially anticipated.
Initially feared to be sidelined for three months, recent reports suggest a faster recovery, with potential participation in the Spanish Super Cup not ruled out. The competition begins on January 10, featuring Barcelona, Osasuna, Atletico Madrid, and Real Madrid.
Despite Vinicius being absent from Madrid’s last 11 games, the team, led by the outstanding performances of Jude Bellingham, maintains its top position in La Liga. Bellingham, with 15 goals in 17 appearances, has been instrumental in Madrid’s success, notably scoring the winning goal in his debut Clasico against Barcelona.
However, his recent shoulder dislocation raises concerns, and while he has returned to action, the possibility of surgery remains on the table according to coach Carlo Ancelotti.
