The 2023 FIFPRO Men’s World 11 Shortlist has been Unveiled

Veteran football icons Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo bid farewell to European football during the 2023 voting period.

The shortlist for the FIFPRO Men’s World 11 includes standout performers like Erling Haaland, recognized for his record-breaking achievements with treble-winners Manchester City.

Other prominent nominees on the list include Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Virgil van Dijk. The eagerly awaited XI will be unveiled at The Best FIFA Football Awards in London on January 15.

A staggering 28,000 players participated in voting for this year’s XI, reinforcing FIFPRO’s claim that these awards are the only ones exclusively determined by professional footballers.

The lineup consists of a goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders, and three forwards.
