Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, believes Rasmus Hojlund will rediscover his goal-scoring form with a “better balance” in the frontline to create more opportunities.
Despite a promising display in the Champions League, where Hojlund scored five goals in six games, he is yet to find the net in 13 Premier League appearances since his £64m move from Atalanta, potentially rising to £72m with add-ons.
Ten Hag emphasizes that goal-scoring is a collective effort, involving players like Rashford, Garnacho, Antony, Fernandes, McTominay, and the full-backs.
He stresses the need for improved movement, decision-making, and clinical finishing for the entire team, aiming for a more balanced and effective attacking approach.
United, with only 18 goals in 17 Premier League matches, face West Ham next, and Ten Hag remains optimistic about Hojlund’s goal-scoring potential.
