British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to attend his first Manchester United game at Old Trafford since the announcement of his 25% investment.
The confirmation of Ratcliffe’s involvement, revealed on Christmas Eve, includes plans for him and his team to oversee football operations.
While awaiting Premier League approval, expected by early March, Ratcliffe, a lifelong United fan, will be present at the upcoming match against Tottenham Hotspur.
He has already visited the club’s training facilities, engaging with both men’s manager Erik ten Hag and women’s team manager Marc Skinner, with responsibilities extending across men’s, women’s, and academy football.
After a prolonged competition with Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim for ownership, Ratcliffe pivoted to a deal that grants the Glazers majority control, with the ultimate goal of acquiring complete ownership in the future.
