Serhou Guirassy’s representatives are increasingly optimistic about the striker’s potential move to a Premier League club in the January transfer window, according to sources.

The player has been a standout performer in the 2023/24 season, scoring 16 goals in 11 matches for Stuttgart.

In the Bundesliga, his tally of 15 goals is second only to Harry Kane of Bayern Munich, who has scored 18 since his summer move from Tottenham Hotspur.

Guirassy’s contract reportedly includes a release clause of around £15.2m, and clubs like Bournemouth, Brentford, Crystal Palace, and West Ham United, along with Manchester United, have been closely monitoring his performances.

Scouts from these clubs had previously traveled to Germany to observe him earlier in the season.

United, along with Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle, Tottenham, and Wolves, have reportedly been approached by intermediaries regarding Serhou Guirassy’s situation.

His representatives believe that all these clubs have shown some level of interest, though nothing definitive has been established at this point.

Any potential move during the mid-season transfer window could be complicated by Guirassy’s anticipated participation with Guinea in the Africa Cup of Nations starting on January 13.

Countries involved in the tournament can call players into training camp two weeks before its commencement.

Despite turning 28 in March, Guirassy is experiencing a late-season resurgence after successful stints with Amiens and Reims in France before joining Stuttgart on an initial loan at the beginning of the 2022/23 campaign.
