Serie A giants Roma are making progress in their move for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.

The Italian is said to be nearing an exit from the Bianconeri and Corriere della Sera have reported about the situation of the winger, with Roma keen on the player. They are making decisive progress in their move for the player, who seems to be out of the Juve project.

Juve sporting director Cristiano Guintoli had a meeting with Fali Ramadani yesterday and the Giallorossi are optimistic that they would be able to sign Chiesa. They are readying an offer of €20 million plus bonuses and Roma are operating with some caution in this move.

Guintoli believes that a quick closure of a sale will not take place, even though Roma’s interest is concrete. The reason why the move could take a bit of time is because of the difference in valuation of the two parties.
