Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made contact over signing a talented winger in Ligue 1 this summer.
Ange Postecoglou is gearing up for a busy summer in north London after guiding Tottenham back into the Europa League.
While it was an encouraging debut season for the Aussie, five defeats in his last seven Premier League games indicates there is plenty of work to be done.
Spurs have been particularly short in the attacking areas this season, with Manor Solomon spending the majority of the campaign sidelined and Ivan Perisic also heading out the door.
Postecoglou confirmed earlier this week that he’s keen to strengthen in attack and it would appear that Tottenham are already making moves on that front.

Tottenham make contact over Desire Doue signing
According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham are one of three Premier League clubs to have asked Rennes about signing Desire Doue.
Manchester United and Arsenal are the other two sides keen on signing the talented youngster.
Rennes are expected to demand a fee worth over £35 million, including ‘substantial add ons’ to offload Doue this summer.
The report also claims that after selling Jeremy Doku to Manchester City for £56 million, Doue is a player believed to have greater potential than the Belgian star.

Doue’s impressive stats for Rennes this season
At just 18, Doue has enjoyed an impressive campaign in France and it’s no surprise to see the likes of Tottenham are keen on the youngster.
While Doue is naturally an attacking midfielder, he’s thrived why playing off the left-hand side this term. In 43 appearances, the French starlet has netted four times and provided six assists.
His teammate, Baptiste Santamaria, recently raved about Doue’s potential, claiming he could become ‘unplayable’.
“He’s a very talented player with a great sense of football,” he told TNT Sports last month. “But he’s still young. But he’s a player who aspires to go to the biggest clubs.
“He’s one of a kind: he likes to hit the ball but he’s solid on his feet. Desire’s technical, percussive and physical qualities are quite incredible.
“When he becomes more consistent, he’ll be unplayable. For his age, he’s the most gifted youngster I’ve seen in my career.”
Spurs are certainly short of options on the left-hand side, with Timo Werner looking likely to head back to RB Leipzig after a short loan spell at the club.
In Doue, Spurs would be getting a youngster with huge potential who is also capable of playing across the frontline, as well as in midfield.
