A Tottenham Hotspur player’s agents have held a meeting over a possible exit this summer.
It’s expected to be a busy few months ahead at Tottenham as they prepare for Ange Postecoglou’s second season in charge.
Remarkably, the Aussie became the first Spurs manager to complete a full season in the dugout since Mauricio Pochettino back in 2018-19.
During this time, Tottenham have burned through plenty of names but seem to be fully behind Postecoglou’s project.
The former Celtic boss has already called for ‘change’ at Spurs this summer after delivering a fifth-place finish and Europa League football. With that, there are expected to be plenty of departures over the coming weeks and months.
Emerson Royal is receiving interest from Serie A giants AC Milan, but a potential problem with the deal has emerged.

Emerson Royal holds talks over Tottenham exit
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has provided the latest on Milan’s interest in Royal.
He claims that Royal’s agents held a meeting with the Italian giants on Monday, with the Rossoneri targeting a new right-back.
Despite holding exploratory talks, it’s claimed that Milan are also considering that Royal is ‘not from the European Union’.
However, Calciomercato previously stated that the £26 million Brazilian has a Spanish passport, meaning he wouldn’t count as a non-EU citizen should Milan sign him.

Emerson also linked with Bayern Move
Despite very much being a squad player under Postecoglou, Royal is attracting interest from top European clubs.
As well as Milan, Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on the 25-year-old as they prepare for a new venture under Vincent Kompany.
Royal has proven to be a useful player for Postecoglou this season as he’s provided cover across the backline.
But it has to be said that he isn’t well-suited to Postecoglou’s demands from his full-backs and if Spurs receive a respectable offer, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Royal head out the door this summer.
