Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Luis Suarez have all joined Lionel Messi at MLS side Inter Miami over the last 12 months, and that Barcelona reunion could be infiltrated by a Real Madrid icon this summer. That’s because the Florida-based franchise are showing interest in Los Blancos captain Nacho Fernandez.

As per Relevo, Inter Miami would be very interested in signing Nacho, who is keen to head stateside when he leaves Real Madrid. The expectation in recent weeks has been that he will depart at the end of the season, although there has been no official confirmation of this as of yet.

Nacho would not be able to earn as much as he currently makes at Real Madrid, although Inter Miami can make him a TAM player, which would mean that he can earn a higher salary than most.

In recent days, doubts have been raised over Nacho’s probable departure from Real Madrid. Either day, no decision will be announced until after the Champions League, as the 34-year-old does not want to cause any unnecessary distractions.
