Real Madrid sensation Jude Bellingham is taking advantage of the Christmas break to rest and enhance recovery from his shoulder injury. The 20-year-old aims to avoid surgery, making this period crucial for his healing process.
Many athletes facing a dislocated shoulder injury typically opt to postpone surgery until the season’s end, provided there are no complications, to potentially avoid it altogether.
Although this approach carries an increased risk of future dislocation, Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham is currently taking a two-week break during the Christmas period to aid his recovery. Despite wearing a protective brace during games to continue playing, reports suggest that the handling of Bellingham’s injury was not satisfactory for Los Blancos.
Croatian doctor Niko Mihic, who was later dismissed during the season, played a role in popping Bellingham’s shoulder back into place during a match against Rayo Vallecano. Some feel that the injury could have been treated with more care.
The concern for both Madrid and England supporters is the potential impact on a crucial part of the season or, for the national team, the Euros, as Bellingham remains one aggravation away from a setback.
However, the longer he goes without further damage, the more confidence there is in his shoulder’s stability.
