Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye believes Rangers have what it takes to retain the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title.

Recall that Rangers won last season title after finishing top of the league.

In an interview with AjSilver, the former Watford goalkeeper stated that he’s a fan of the club.

“When I was younger my dad used to come back from Nigeria with Rangers shirts when he visited so that’s the only team I’ve supported from here,” Okoye to AjSilver.

“I heard they won the title last season so I think they can do it again.”

Okoye is currently preparing for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
