Super Eagles forwards Victor Osimhen and Victor Boniface have secured spots in CIES’ compilation of the top 100 most valuable football players, as reported by TalkFooty.
Nigeria boasts a wealth of exceptional strikers, leaving coach Peseiro with abundant options, with notable talents like Cyriel Dessers and Terem Moffi not making the cut for the Africa Cup of Nations squad.
Meanwhile, the CIES Observatory, renowned for its exclusive data and analysis on player ratings and values, has unveiled its latest rankings of the top 100 most valuable players. Among the listed players are Nigerian strikers Osimhen and Boniface.
Napoli’s sharpshooter Osimhen holds the 36th position as the 36th most expensive player globally, boasting a valuation of €100.5 million. On the other hand, Boniface, the Bayer Leverkusen star, secures the 98th spot with a valuation of €72.5 million.
Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham claims the top spot with an impressive valuation of €267.5 million, followed by Erling Haaland and Vinicius Junior at €251.2 million and €250.3 million, respectively. Rodrigo Goes takes the fourth position with a valuation of €247.9 million, while Bukayo Saka completes the top five with a value of €223.0 million.
The top ten of the CIES Observatory’s most expensive players also includes Phil Foden, Pablo Gavi, Julian Alvarez, Jamal Musiala, and Martin Odegaard.
