Napoli Set Sights on Promising Bodo/Glimt Midfielder

Napoli have identified the first name to potentially bolster their midfield in January in Bodo/Glimt’s Albert Gronbaek. The Partenopei wanted to make a splash at the position by signing Gabri Veiga last summer. However, Al-Alhi hijacked their bid at the 11^th hour, and they invested in Jesper Lindstrom afterward.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the youngster is versatile and can star on the wings as well. He has a robust valuation, €8.5M. He has scored 8 goals in 23 appearances so far this season. His team is currently top of the table.

The Norwegian league ends in December, so that wouldn’t be an issue for Napoli and their possible attempt to lure Gronbaek. Bodo/Glimt acquired him from Aarhus for €3M in August 2022.
