Serie A giants Napoli and Lazio have been offered a chance to sign former Real Madrid star James Rodriguez.

The Colombian sparkled for his country at the Copa America recently and his stocks have gone up again. La Repubblica state that Rodriguez is now looking for a club and has been offered to Napoli and Lazio, with the player keen on a return to Europe.

Antonio Conte does like James’ profile but there are obvious concerns about his fitness. That is leaving the deal on hold. Lazio are not too keen on the player as their priorities are to sign a left winger and they are also looking to sign a potential striker.

As a result, the idea of James moving to Italy isn’t quite taking off and it remains to be seen if other links surface or not. It seems as if the two clubs are looking at other names.
