Terem Moffi made a significant impact off the bench, netting two goals as OGC Nice secured a 2-0 win over RC Lens at the Allianz Riviera on Wednesday night.
Moffi, absent in Nice’s 3-1 loss to Le Havre last weekend, entered the game in the 73rd minute, substituting for Gaetan Laborde.
The forward swiftly put Les Aiglons in the lead with a penalty three minutes later and added a second goal in the 78th minute.
The 22-year-old has amassed six goals in 16 league appearances for Nice this season. When the league resumes in January, Nice is set to face Auxerre.
Francesco Farioli’s team maintains their hold on the second position in the table, boasting 35 points from 17 games.
