Martin Odegaard Extends Arsenal Stay with New Long-Term Contract

Norwegian sensation Martin Odegaard has penned a new long-term contract with Premier League giants Arsenal, according to an official announcement from the club.

While specific contract details have not been disclosed, reports indicate that the extension spans five years.

In the club’s statement, they declared, “Our captain Martin Odegaard has committed to a fresh long-term contract with the team.” Odegaard’s association with Arsenal began in January 2021 when he joined on loan from Real Madrid. He is now entering his fourth season with the club.

Odegaard’s stellar performances have garnered widespread recognition. In the previous season, he clinched the Player of the Season award, netting an impressive 15 goals in the Premier League, making him the leading scorer from midfield. His exceptional on-field vision and awareness secured him a coveted spot in the PFA Team of the Year. He also received nominations for the Premier League Player of the Season, Premier League Young Player of the Season, and the FWA Footballer of the Year awards.
