The Evening Standard highlights the need for a new center forward, akin to Kane’s level, along with additions in midfield, right-back, and center-back.

Despite links with Kane last summer, he joined Bayern Munich.

United signed striker Rasmus Hojlund for an initial £64m last summer, with potential add-ons taking the total to £72m.

Ratcliffe witnessed Hojlund’s performance as he scored his second Premier League goal in a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur.

Erik ten Hag’s team has struggled offensively, scoring only 24 goals in 21 Premier League games.
