Manchester United is exploring the signing of Michael Olise as part of INEOS’ efforts to revitalize the club’s forward line.

The deal, involving INEOS acquiring a 25% stake in United, awaits Premier League approval. Sir Jim Ratcliffe, set to take control of footballing operations, will play a crucial role in immediate transfer plans and managerial changes.

Crystal Palace winger Olise has surfaced as a transfer target for United, potentially becoming one of the first signings in the Ratcliffe era, as reported by the Evening Standard.

Olise, who came close to leaving Palace last summer when Chelsea triggered his previous £35m release clause, opted to stay at Selhurst Park and signed a new contract.

While United has decided against a January pursuit, Olise remains on their shortlist for summer plans to reconstruct the squad. The current release clause is undisclosed, making him a potential target for the upcoming transfer window.

Jadon Sancho, sought by former club Borussia Dortmund on loan, and out-of-contract striker Anthony Martial are poised to depart from Manchester United this year.
