Manchester United produced another stinking performance at Crystal Palace tonight and Jamie Carragher was fuming with one player at full-time.

United boss Erik ten Hag looked on in shock as his team wilted against Palace and produced what was arguably their worst performance of the season.

After some stern words in recent weeks in the media, Ten Hag will have been hoping his team came out fighting on the pitch.

But it was the complete opposite, as Palace helped themselves to four goals and could have had more.

Of course, a number of United players were poor on the night over the 90 minutes. But it was at full-time where Sky Sports pundit Carragher lost his rag when he saw what Antony was doing going off the pitch.

At full-time and when walking off the pitch alongside Mason Mount and Andre Onana, Antony was spotted talking behind his hand to the pair and clearly unhappy with something.

But after contributing little over the course of the game, seeing Antony apparently moaning about something caused Carragher to slam the Brazilian.

“Just get off the pitch. Talking whispering behind your hand, you’ve been absolutely awful. Probably talking about one of the players or someone else, or the manager. Just shut up and get in. Whispering and talking about other players, honestly, embarrassing,” Carragher fumed.

Antony has no reason to complain

Of all the Manchester United players to be having a whinge going off, surely Antony is someone who cannot be getting involved with that.

The Brazilian has done relatively nothing ever since signing for over £80m and for him to be looking like he’s passing the blame will infuriate some United fans like it did Carragher here.

The winger has scored just three times all season and was taken off again tonight after doing absolutely nothing in another abysmal display.

For him to be seen doing this is simply mind-blowing and you could almost see on Mason Mount’s face that he wasn’t comfortable.

This United team is all over the place right now and tonight might be the final straw for the board when it comes to the manager and some of the players.
