Jurgen Klopp reveals thoughts on Liverpool target Arne Slot

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed he is a fan of Feyenoord’s Arne Slot as the Reds look to finalise his appointment.

90min revealed earlier this week Slot had emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Klopp in the Anfield dugout.

The Dutchman revealed on Thursday he wants to take the Liverpool job and is confident they will agree a compensation package with Feyenoord.

At a press conference on Friday, Klopp was given the opportunity to discuss Slot’s potential move to Liverpool.

When asked directly about Liverpool’s pursuit of Slot, Klopp replied: “I didn’t read anything, but Tony [Barrett, press officer] told me that Arne said something.
