Serie A side Inter’s Denzel Dumfries is likely to be interested in a move to Manchester United this summer.

According to a report by Filippo Conticello of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Denzel Dumfries will say ‘yes’ if Premier League outfits Manchester United come knocking on Inter’s door for him this summer. 

The Nerazzurri are facing problems renewing the Dutchman’s contract which is set to expire in 2025 as he wants a salary of €5 million net. This situation has opened the possibility of a departure during the upcoming transfer window as Inter could raise around €25-30 million from his sale. 

Denzel Dumfries has rejected the idea of playing for a mid-table side in the Premier League previously but featuring for Man United interests him. If Erik Ten Hag stays on The Red Devils’ bench for next season, the move could potentially take off in the summer.

Inter will be tempted to bring in a few new players this summer after filling their coffers with the Scudetto win and Dumfries might be one of the players who loses their place in the squad.
