Jamie Carragher has just named his favourite Jurgen Klopp moment at Liverpool.

Sunday will be an emotional day for Liverpool supporters in attendance at Anfield and around the world, as Jurgen Klopp waves goodbye.

It marks the end of the German’s glittering eight-and-a-half-year spell – which has seen the club win the Premier League title for the first time in their history and add a sixth Champions League trophy to the cabinet.

Leading up to the game, players, staff and figures in the media have paid tribute to Klopp for the marvellous job he’s done and many have reflected on their favourite moment of his.

With that said, Carragher has just named his best memory.

Jamie Carragher says Jurgen Klopp’s Everton celebration is his favourite moment

Taking to X on Sunday morning, Carragher said Klopp’s celebration with Alisson in the 1-0 win against Everton during the 2018/19 season was his favourite moment.

Divock Origi was the goalscorer in quite bizarre circumstances, as Virgil van Dijk’s mishit ended up bouncing off the cross before the super substitute headed home.

It certainly wasn’t the greatest bit of goalkeeping from Jordan Pickford.

Barcelona game right up there

The Merseyside wins are always special, particularly when won late, but it’s hard to top Champions League nights at Anfield.

That 4-0 drubbing of Barcelona in May 2019 to overturn the 3-0 deficit in the first leg was beyond extraordinary and one of the best comebacks in the history of the competition.

Further, they went on to win the Champions League, too, defeating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the final.
