Ally McCoist and Jeff Stelling have both delivered their verdict on Tottenham Hotspur’s clash against Manchester City tomorrow night.

Ange Postecoglou will have a keen eye on Aston Villa’s game against Liverpool this evening as Spurs remain in with a slim chance of securing a top-four finish.

Tottenham sit four points behind the Villains and should Unai Emery’s side fall to a defeat tonight, it would open up a window of opportunity for Postecoglou’s men.

With that being said, Spurs’ game in hand is arguably their toughest possible test as they host Manchester City on Tuesday night.

Should Pep Guardiola pick up just his second win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it would see City leapfrog Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table.

Despite City’s poor record at the Spurs’ new stadium, Ally McCoist and Jeff Stelling would be stunned if Tottenham picked up a result tomorrow.

McCoist and Stelling predict Tottenham vs Man City

Speaking on talkSPORT [13/05 9:13 am], McCoist claimed he’d be ‘absolutely staggered’ if City don’t pick up all three points at Tottenham.

“I just can’t see it [a draw] happening, Jeff,” he said. “I genuinely can’t. It’s amazing because their record at Spurs’ stadium is not good.

“But I would be absolutely staggered if they don’t win tomorrow night. I really would.”

“Yeah, me too,” Stelling agreed.

City’s last visit to Tottenham

Despite a poor record in north London, Guardiola’s men picked up their first win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in January. 

Nathan Ake’s header secured City’s place in the FA Cup fifth round and ended a run of five defeats without scoring a single goal at Tottenham’s home.

Earlier this season, Spurs picked up a point at the Etihad Stadium after a thrilling 3-3 draw, with Dejan Kulusevski netting a late equaliser. 

There will be mixed feelings at Spurs on Tuesday though as supporters will be aware that a positive result will hand their north London rivals Arsenal an advantage in the title race.
