Real Madrid ended their week in fantastic style, hitting four unanswered goals past a hapless Granada side, whose relegation from La Liga was confirmed earlier on Saturday. Carlo Ancelotti fielded a “B team” for the match, resting the likes of Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde, not that it mattered in the end.

Ancelotti was very pleased with his side’s performance at Los Carmenes, as he told the media post-match (via Diario AS).

“The feeling is good, because everyone competes, fights, shows quality, and plays as a team. Things are also very good with Courtois and Militao, as they are improving. Everything went well today. The aim is to have the whole squad at full strength for Wembley, and I think we will achieve that.”

Carlo Ancelotti singled out Arda Guler for special praise, following another impressive performance from the Real Madrid starlet, who added another goal to his tally.

“He’s showing fantastic talent, he’s very effective and he’s got speed. I don’t know what his ceiling is, it’s hard to say nowadays, but he’s naturally talented and he’s doing very well.”
