Manchester City’s Kyle Walker has claimed that one Chelsea star is the ‘complete’ defender.
The Blues look set to name Mauricio Pochettino’s replacement this week as they close in on Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca.
Maresca will face the task of guiding Chelsea back towards the top end of the Premier League table and getting the best out of this talented young squad.
One player who will be expected to play a key role under the Italian boss is captain Reece James.
The Chelsea academy product endured a miserable campaign last time out as he featured just 11 times due to injuries.
Despite his struggles with his fitness over the past couple of years, Kyle Walker is a huge fan of the Blues star.

Walker says Reece James is the ‘complete’ right-back
Speaking on his podcast, Walker was asked who he feels is the best right-back in the world, apart from himself.
“Reece James. He’s just got everything. Everything,” the City star said. “If I can make the complete right-back, it would be him. Defend, attack, technically, both-footed, dead-ball situations, quick.
“I think if I was to build one, I’d go with my strength, Hakimi’s pace, Cancelo’s technical ability, Trent’s passing, Carvajal’s mentality and I think Reece James’ football brain because he obviously played in midfield for a long time.
“But if I was to round all of them up, I’d say it would be Reece. He gives you a little bit of everything.”

James faces battle to get back into Chelsea’s side
Despite the fact that James is currently captain, his absence this season has led to the emergence of Malo Gusto at right-back.
The Frenchman caught the eye under Pochettino, registering nine assists in 37 appearances.
With James struggling to stay fit, Gusto has emerged as a vital player at Chelsea after joining from Lyon last summer.
There’s no doubt that based on ability alone, James is among the best right-backs in world football. But the Englishman’s struggles with persistent injuries have been a huge cause for concern for Chelsea.
However, James will be hoping the worst is behind him after undergoing surgery this season as he bids to finally put his struggles with his fitness to bed.
