Arsenal ended up winning at Old Trafford today as they kept their title hopes alive going into the final day of the season.
A win was imperative for the Gunners and they got it courtesy of a Leandro Trossard goal in the first-half.
Overall, it was a performance of determination and grit which resulted in William Saliba getting the man of the match and once again impressing.
For Arsenal, it’s now all about the final day and there’ll be nerves aplenty as they go head to head with Man City.

Of course, key to being top of the table has been Arsenal’s ability to attack so well.
And speaking about one of those all important attacking players, Wayne Rooney has admitted to being really impressed by one Arsenal star.
Wayne Rooney says Bukayo Saka is just ‘fantastic’ to watch
Speaking on Sky Sports about Saka before the game, Rooney was full of praise for the Arsenal man.
“I think he’s fantastic. I think over the last couple of years he’s been one of the best players in the Premier League,” Rooney said.
“I think what’s really refreshing with him is nowadays you see young players, young wide players always wanting to come inside but he mixes it up a bit. He’ll make those runs behind, a bit like Marc Overmars all those years ago. He’ll go behind, come inside and he’s very effective and scores big goals so yeah, he’s a big player.
“I think he’s such a clever player for such a young lad. His numbers show that and he’s always a threat. He’ll take the ball and what he does is give them an outlet when they need it but also he’ll create something out of nothing.”

Gary Neville often speaks about he how he used to hate playing against Marc Overmars and this nod from Rooney in Saka’s direction is an interesting one.
In the game today, Saka also showed that Rooney was right. At times he cut inside looking to get his shots off but he also went down the outside, winning a number of corners for the Gunners.
Saka has been one of the star attractions in the entire league this season, not just for Arsenal.
At 22, he will only go on and get better as well and looking ahead to the summer with England, Saka is going to be just as important as he was in Qatar.
