Arsenal have often been accused of being too soft.

Towards the end of the Arsene Wenger era, Arsenal were always just a bit too nice to truly challenge at the top of the league, but now, that’s all changed.

Indeed, this Arsenal team are incredibly dogged, and, in the eyes of some, even a bit dirty, and that added edge does give the Gunners an extra dynamic.

Ben White is a player who perfectly encapsulates Arsenal’s new attitude, and speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Fabio Vieira has been discussing White and how much he fights on the pitch.

Fabio Vieira says Ben White is a warrior

Vieira spoke about the £50m man, describing him as a warrior, claiming that he always fights on the pitch.

“I think he would do well because he is a warrior, he’s always fighting on the pitch, he fights for every ball, so I think he is doing well,” Vieira said.

Ben White gives his all

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time an Arsenal player has said this about White.

Back in March, Gabriel Martinelli described White in the exact same way when he renewed his contract with the Gunners.

“Every team would love to have a Ben White in the team. He’s a warrior.” Martinelli said.

A lot is made of White’s personality off the pitch, he’s rather aloof and he’s admitted himself that he’s not a big football fan. However, on the pitch, he gives his all every single time he plays for Arsenal, and he does a remarkable job wherever he is utilised.

This warrior spirit may well be what carries Arsenal over the line in the Premier League title race this season, and even if the Gunners fall short, they can rest easy knowing that they gave Manchester City a serious run for their money, and White has played a massive part in that push.
