Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on the future of one Arsenal player.

The Gunners are hoping for a miracle on the final day of the Premier League season after Tottenham Hotspur failed to do them a favour on Tuesday night.

Manchester City remain the absolute favourites to win the title, but football is a funny game and anything could happen when they face West Ham.

Irrespective of the final league table, Arsenal are expected to be active in the summer transfer window, with respect to both incomings and outgoings.

Reiss Nelson has been at Arsenal since he was eight years old.

The Englishman came through the ranks at Hale End and was always one of the most talented players in the Gunners’ academy.

Many people expected Nelson to have a big career at the top level, but for one reason or another, he just hasn’t been able to become a regular for the Gunners.

Nelson could’ve left Arsenal on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, but Mikel Arteta convinced him to stay. He signed a new contract at the club then.

However, after a season in which he has played less than 650 minutes of football for the senior side, the writing is on the wall with respect to his Arsenal career.

Fabrizio Romano has now had his say on Nelson’s future.

The journalist has revealed that neither Arsenal nor Nelson are desperate to part ways this summer. However, if an offer does arrive, both parties will seriously consider it.

It’s a real possibility that Nelson will leave Arsenal this summer.

Romano wrote in his Daily Briefing: “Another name to watch at Arsenal is Reiss Nelson. It’s a possibility that he could be leaving the club.

“There was interest in Nelson last summer but he ended up signing a new contract. Still, he will now consider proposals in the summer and Arsenal too.

“They’re not desperate to part ways, only in case there’s a good proposal in the summer transfer window.”

Reiss Nelson could join a rival Premier League club

Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson is a hugely talented player.

The 24-year-old possesses ‘electric‘ pace, is a fantastic dribbler and his finishing is not too bad either. He has scored a few big goals for Arsenal under Mikel Arteta.

There will definitely be clubs looking at Nelson this summer, and one of them could be high-flying Crystal Palace, who are said to be keen to sign him.

The Eagles have become an incredible side since Oliver Glasner took charge of the club. They have been playing some brilliant football, and Nelson would fit in perfectly.

If Palace do make a move to sign Nelson this summer, it won’t be a surprise to see him accept a switch to Selhurst Park.
