The Ange Postecoglou revolution at Tottenham has lost a lot of momentum.

At the start of the season, Spurs looked as though they were going to take the Premier League by storm.

Tottenham won eight out of their first 10 games, and it looked as though the north London club could be unlikely title contenders this term.

However, things have turned sour for Spurs as of late.

Tottenham have lost four league games in a row, and now, questions are being asked of Ange Postecoglou and his style.

Speaking on The View From The Lane, Jack Pitt-Brooke has been trying to dissect why Spurs have been so poor recently.

The journalist discussed the suggestion that Tottenham’s players may not be as convinced by Postecoglou’s methods now, but, based on his own information, the squad are still really enjoying playing under the manager.

Tottenham’s players are still enjoying Ange Postecoglou’s style

Pitt-Brooke shared what he knows about the Tottenham boss.

“I know people say they have been found out, but that’s not how I see it. Spurs’ level of performance has dropped quite a lot over the past month or so,” Pitt-Brooke said.

“I don’t know what has caused this drop off. The players look less motivated, I don’t know if that’s mental fatigue, did they enjoy the start of Postecoglou and now they’re less convinced by the methods? Maybe, but from what I gather they do enjoy it, so I’m not sure if it is that.”

Tottenham’s recent form has been absolutely terrible, there’s no getting away from it.

However, when everything clicks, Ange Postecoglou’s style does work.

We’ve seen it at a number of different clubs, and we also saw it at Spurs at the start of the season.

Unfortunately, it looks as though a lack of squad depth and fatigue has taken its toll on Tottenham this season, but, if Spurs can add to their squad this summer, they should be able to kick on next season and mount a proper challenge.
