Former Barcelona target keen has given approval to Real Betis for summer move to take place

Real Betis could be in store for a very busy summer transfer window, with significant changes possibly being on the cards for Manuel Pellegrini’s squad. One area that looks like being targeted is midfield, and that will especially be the case if Nabil Fekir does exit the club, which is expected at this stage.

Fekir has been linked with a summer move to Saudi Arabia, and if a big-money is received, Betis will probably take it. They already have his replacement lined up: Las Palmas’ Alberto Moleiro. According to ED, the 20-year-old – who came close to signing for Barcelona a couple of years ago – has accepted Betis’ proposal.

Las Palmas are under no pressure to sell Moleiro, whom they value very highly. His release clause stands at €60m, although Betis would hope to negotiate a significantly lower fee, while also including the likes of Broja Iglesias or Rodri Sanchez in a possible agreement, as both players are liked by the Gran Canaria-based side.

Moleiro would be a top signing for Real Betis, and he’d be a fantastic replacement for Fekir. He doesn’t look like being the only player wanted from Las Palmas either, as Alvaro Valles is expected to be their top goalkeeper target during the transfer window.
