The Blues have been linked with a new striker for a long time now, and speaking on The United Stand, Fabrizio Romano has named a forward that the west London club will definitely be in for.

Indeed, according to the journalist, Chelsea will definitely be in the race for Benjamin Sesko this summer.

Romano shared what he knows about the £55m striker and Chelsea.

“For Sesko there is going to be great competition too. Chelsea will be there for sure, Arsenal also appreciate Sesko. There is a lot of interest in this boy,” Romano said.

“RB Leipzig in the last 24/48 hours have just offered him a new contract with an important salary to be the star of the team and to change the release clause in his contract,” Romano said.

Benjamin Sesko is a wanted man

Chelsea will be in for Sesko this summer, but there’s no guarantee they’ll be able to get him.

Indeed, the Slovenian is a wanted man heading into this transfer window., Arsenal and Manchester United are also said to be keen, while, RB Leipzig aren’t going to let him go with ease either.

It’s not a surprise to hear that Sesko is being pursued so strongly by Premier League clubs. After all, he’s been banging in the goals over in Germany this season, while his physical profile is also remarkable, combining incredible pace with his immense height making for quite a complete striker.

Sesko could well be on his way to the Premier League this summer, and Chelsea may well be his most likely destination.
