The Saudi Pro League are ready to bid for Brazilian forwards Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison this summer, TBR Football understands.

Tottenham forward Richarlison has long-been a target for the Pro League, and TBR understands that newly promoted Al-Qadisiyah – backed by oil giants Aramco have him on their radar.

Intermediaries have made it clear to the Pro League that Richarlison does have an interest in moving to the Middle East. TBR has been informed that Tottenham are open to the idea of the former Everton man leaving this summer.

As well as Richarlison, Al-Qadisiyah are also keen on Gabriel Jesus – although it remains to be seen if he is keen on joining the Pro League.

TBR understands Arsenal have told Jesus that they will not stand in his way – should an offer arrive, but they also insist that they are not actively looking to sell.

Gabriel Jesus has arguably been a victim of his own success at the Emirates this season. Signing the Brazilian for £45 million was a real statement from Mikel Arteta’s side, and he definitely seemed to play his part in raising the standards again in North London.

But Arsenal are now genuine Premier League title contenders. So the flaws which prevented Gabriel Jesus from becoming a superstar at Manchester City have come to the fore again, with the 27-year-old only scoring four league goals this season.

Kai Havertz has impressed in the number nine role in recent months, so you can understand why the Gunners would be prepared to keep their options open on Jesus’ future.

Richarlison meanwhile, has had a better year than Jesus with 11 goals in the league for Tottenham. However, Spurs’ recent form shows that they remain a work in progress under Ange Postecoglou.

No team in the top seven has scored fewer goals than Tottenham in the Premier League this season, so Richarlison has not exactly proved that he is the man to fill the void left by Harry Kane.

With that, it seems that all parties are starting to accept that a move to Saudi Arabia may be best if a big offer arrives over the next few months.
