Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is optimistic about the potential return of Christian Eriksen, Luke Shaw, and Harry Maguire for their upcoming clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
With both teams vying for European qualification, the Red Devils have faced a season marred by injuries.
Following a 2-0 FA Cup win over Wigan Athletic, Ten Hag expressed hope that Eriksen, Shaw, and Maguire could feature in the crucial match, although summer signing Mason Mount may need additional time to recover.
Eriksen unexpectedly missed Monday’s match against Wigan due to illness, with Amad Diallo also absent.
Additionally, Antony was left out due to an injury. Tottenham anticipates having Timo Werner available for the upcoming clash with United once his loan move from RB Leipzig is finalized.
While there were enquiries about Werner from the Red Devils, no further pursuit was made, as revealed by 90min last week.
Regarding potential loan signings, Ten Hag stated they are open to considering all options based on the best interests of the players and the team, with decisions evolving throughout the transfer window.
