Erik ten Hag Considering Reunion with Another Ajax Star at Manchester United

Upon joining United in 2022, Ten Hag secured centre-back Lisandro Martinez and winger Antony for a combined £143m.

He later added Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana for an additional £47m. Despite a failed attempt to sign Brobbey in 2022, recent reports suggest Ten Hag is eager to acquire the 21-year-old striker this winter.

Sky Germany reveals Brobbey’s impressive performance in the Eredivisie, with nine goals and four assists in 16 games this season, catching Ten Hag’s attention.

However, Ajax prefers discussions at the season’s end, showing reluctance for a January deal.

Brobbey, who made his senior debut under Ten Hag in 2020, had a successful loan spell back at Ajax after joining RB Leipzig.

United’s focus this winter is on outgoings, with a potential move for a new forward, like Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee, more likely in the summer to support Rasmus Hojlund.
