Serie A giants Napoli seem keen on landing Romelu Lukaku in the summer in a potential swap deal with Victor Osimhen but the idea hasn’t quite taken off yet.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW) report today that incoming Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca doesn’t seem keen on a swap deal as he doesn’t seem interested in the possibility of having Victor Osimhen as his first signing in the summer transfer window. The move, as a result, is currently off.
As a result of the failure to move on Osimhen quickly, Napoli’s approach in the transfer window will be harmed as they were going to use money from the sale to sign other players and progress in the window, while bolstering their squad in the process.
Osimhen is also said to be interested in a move to Arsenal but the Gunners haven’t quite made an attempt yet and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested, but haven’t come forward for him yet.
