Eduardo Camavinga Names his two Best Friends at Real Madrid

It is interesting how quickly things have changed for Eduardo Camavinga at Real Madrid. In the first half of last season, he was struggling for chances and there were also some suggestions of him potentially being sent out on loan in order to get some much-needed playing time. Things changed completely after the World Cup.

Camavinga looked like a completely different player after the World Cup break. His versatility helped him as well as he played a lot of his football at left-back, and was one of Real Madrid’s standout performers despite playing out of position.

This season, he seems to have established himself as a regular starter in the middle of the park in Carlo Ancelotti’s side. And the Frenchman looks like a big part of Real Madrid’s present as well as future.

It is hard to believe that he is still just 20 years of age. It feels like the Frenchman has been around for a long time and yet, he surely has a lot of scope for further development.

One thing that has shined through in this current Real Madrid squad is how tight the dressing room seems to be. Perhaps that is one of the biggest reasons why they have continued to perform despite not having much depth.

Camavinga recently picked out his two closest friends at Real Madrid. As reported by Football Espana, he said:

“I get along well with all the young guys. It’s true I do more things with Aurelien because he is French, and with Vini, because he’s Brazilian. With everyone in general, that doesn’t mean to say I don’t get on with anyone. I admire Modric and Kroos the most.”

Camavinga has been pictured with several of Real Madrid’s on holidays. He appeared to spend time with Vinicius and Rodrgyo in Brazil during the summer break. Such friendships can only help the team on the pitch. It not only helps boost the morale of the players but builds an understanding between them as well which can translate into them playing better together.
