€10m coming Las Palmas’ way as deal agreed to sell 25-year-old defender to Torino

Las Palmas are about to close the first of two potential big-money sales this summer. Saul Coco was destined to be leaving Gran Canaria after snubbing a new contract proposal, and instead of spending the 2024-25 season in the stands, he is now set to move to Italy.

As reported by Canarias7 (via MD), Las Palmas have agreed the sale of Coco to Serie A side Torino. €7.5m will be received upfront, with €2.5m in add-ons also included in the agreement between the two clubs. They will also retain a 10% sell-on clause.

The money received will be very valuable for Las Palmas, as they target further signings at the beginning of new manager Luis Carrion’s spell in charge.

The second significant sale for Las Palmas could also take place soon, with Marseille very interested in Alvaro Valles. Like Coco, Valles’ contract expires next summer, and he would spend the season in the stands if he does not leave before the end of the transfer window.
