Paul Onuachu has joined Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor on a season- long loan deal.
Sky Bet Championship club, Southampton announced the striker’s departure on their official website on Monday.
“#SaintsFC striker Paul Onuachu has completed a season-long loan move to @Trabzonspor, subject to international clearance,” Southampton revealed on their official X handle.
The 27-year-old failed to make a positive impact following his arrival at the South Coast club in January.
The Nigeria international failed to register a goal in 12 league appearances with Southampton going down on relegation to the Championship.
Onuachu made just one appearance for Southampton this season.
He will be third Nigerian to play for Trabzonspor following in the footsteps of Ogenyi Onazi and Anthony Nwakaeme.
