Dejan Kulusevski is confident Djed Spence can have a “very good career” if he continues to work hard having already done so to get back into Ange Postecoglou’s good books.

The Swede has been so impressed with the £20m defender since he’s been brought into the team with his physicality being his most notable strength.

Kulusevski told Sky Sports: “Djed Spence has been unbelievable since he started playing, I think he’s the type of player where you’ve just got to let him on the pitch.

“When he finally got the chance he showed everyone that he’s unbelievable physically, very strong and fast, very good with the ball, so he’s been huge for us.

“It’s perhaps only the beginning for him he can have a very good career if he keeps going and works hard.”
