Chelsea Target Osimhen Agrees to Napoli Contract Extension

Chelsea target Victor Osimhen has tentatively agreed to extend his contract with Napoli, set to run until 2026, with a one-year extension.

Despite Napoli’s initial desire for a longer-term deal until 2027, the agreement comes with a €120m (£112m) release clause, allowing Osimhen the possibility of a move next summer.

Chelsea, aware of ongoing negotiations, remains undeterred in their interest, planning a potential move next year. Osimhen’s decision to renew his contract comes despite an incident where Napoli’s TikTok account mocked him for a missed penalty earlier in the season.

However, Osimhen has clarified that the matter has been resolved, expressing satisfaction with Napoli’s support and looking forward to the future.
