Chelsea has secured a £10m sleeve sponsorship deal with cryptocurrency firm BingX, aiming to have it in place by the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final next week.
After commencing the current season without any shirt sponsorship, Chelsea earlier secured a £40m deal with Infinite Athlete for the front of shirts.
However, the club had been without a sleeve sponsor since WhaleFin terminated a £20m-a-year deal last season.
Now, sources indicate a £10m deal with BingX for the remainder of the season, featuring the BingX logo on sleeves before transitioning to become the primary sponsor for Chelsea’s training kits.
Infinite Athlete will also move to the sleeves of the training kits starting from the 2024/25 season.
Chelsea is actively seeking additional revenue through sponsorship deals and has deferred the decision on a front-of-shirt sponsor for this season to secure the best financial offer.
Discussions have taken place regarding a new main sponsor, with Saudi Arabian airline Riyadh Air being one of the entities engaged in talks with Chelsea for potential future agreements.
Chelsea aims to secure a deal worth £60m per season, which would set a club record and position the club among the highest-earning football entities globally.
Currently, Real Madrid holds the most valuable shirt sponsorship deal, generating €70m (£60.4m) through their partnership with Emirates.
