The teenager is considered one of the most desired young talents in Europe and the fact he is out of contract at the end of the year with Copenhagen has his suitors jostling to land him.

Bardghji has the attention of almost every major club in Europe including Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus, Atalanta and Marseille.

Will Roony Bardghji move to the Premier League?

Despite major interest from around Europe, a move to the Premier League remains a distinct possibility for Roony Bardghji, sources have told TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.

Chelsea are showing the strongest interest, however, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Brighton are all very much in contention and are keeping tabs on his situation.

The right-winger, who has been dubbed the “Swedish Messi”, is out of contract with Copenhagen at the end of their season in December and any clubs looking to land him would likely look to agree with the Danish club rather than wait until January.

Tottenham were quoted £21.5m for Bardghji back in January 2024 but now the likelihood is that he could be signed for significantly less towards the end of the year.

Bardghji has not played this season after suffering a knee ligament injury in the summer – but he has already returned to training.

When Roony Bardghji scored against Manchester United

Back in November 2023, Bardghji became the youngest-ever player to score against Manchester United in the Champions League aged just 17.

The winger netted the winning goal against the Red Devils in the 87th minute as Copenhagen came from behind to win 4-3.
