Brighton is Prepared to Initiate Contract Discussions With Roberto De Zerbi in Response to Interest From Real Madrid

Brighton & Hove Albion are considering contract talks with manager Roberto De Zerbi to modify a release clause in response to interest from Real Madrid and Napoli.

Since taking over in September 2022, De Zerbi led Brighton to a sixth-place Premier League finish and their first-ever European qualification.

While European heavyweights are eyeing him, Brighton aims to extend his contract beyond its 2026 expiration and increase the current £10m release clause. De Zerbi, content in England, appreciates Brighton’s support despite challenges like selling Moises Caicedo.
