BREAKING: Atalanta Rejects Opening Man Utd bid for Hojlund

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Atalanta have rejected a €35m bid from Manchester United for Rasmus Hojlund.

The 20-year-old is one of the most sought-after strikers in the summer after scoring 16 goals in his first 42 games with La Dea in 2022-23.

Manchester United and Juventus are among the clubs monitoring the Denmark international. According to Saturday’s printed edition of Il Corriere dello Sport (page 4), La Dea has already rejected an opening offer from the Red Devils.

According to the report, United offered €35m but Atalanta want at least €45m.

Juventus are keen on the striker but need to sell Dusan Vlahovic before making a formal bid to Atalanta.

Vlahovic is available for €80-90m and Massimiliano Allegri’s mentor Giovanni Galeone said earlier this week that he thinks the Serbia international would leave in the summer.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Juventus will try to lower Hojlund’s price tag by including a player in a swap deal. As per Tuttosport, Juventus are also interested in Udinese striker Beto.
