Serie A’s newest Champions League presence Bologna are pushing to sign Lazio boss Igor Tudor this summer, with Thiago Motta having joined Juventus.
Lazio’s failure to sign Daichi Kamada to a new deal has led to annoyance and concern in Tudor’s camp and he now believes that Lazio’s ambitions don’t match his, as the Japan midfielder was seen as a key part of the project.
La Lazio Siamo Noi report that there are indeed question marks about whether Tudor will stay on as Lazio’s manager or not because of the Kamada saga. He doesn’t feel a sense of unity at the club and doesn’t feel trusted by the dressing room either, with his relationship with Matteo Guendouzi not said to be great.
In the meantime, Bologna are pushing to sign Tudor. The Rossoblu sporting director Giovanni Sartori is pushing to convince Tudor to leave Lazio and join Bologna and the next few hours are likely to be decisive. Some days ago, Bologna did ask about Tudor but were pegged back because the Kamada saga hadn’t turned ugly but they see an opportunity now and they are pushing.
