Carlo Ancelotti has acknowledged that Jude Bellingham continues to grapple with a shoulder injury, even after making a goal-scoring comeback for Real Madrid.
The midfielder missed consecutive games leading up to the international break and had to withdraw from the England squad due to a dislocated shoulder suffered against Rayo Vallecano.
Despite the injury concerns, Bellingham started in Real Madrid’s clash against Cadiz on Sunday and found the back of the net with an impressive finish in the 74th minute, contributing to a 3-0 away victory.
Ancelotti, addressing the media, stated, “Bellingham is fine. He still has the problem he had but he is fine with the protection.”
The 20-year-old’s goal marked his 14th in 15 games since joining Real Madrid, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of 13 goals in the same number of matches.
As Bellingham navigates his injury, Real Madrid faces upcoming challenges, including a Champions League fixture against Napoli and a weekend clash against Granada.
