After a dramatic win that came with a very disappointing performance against Real Sociedad yesterday, Barcelona will now travel to Hamburg, Germany to take on Shakhtar Donetsk for the fourth round of the UEFA Champions League group stages.
Xavi is slowly but surely recovering all his injured stars, with Pedri making his return against Sociedad, as well. The Spaniard has also been included in the traveling squad for the UCL clash, but is not expected to start.
Still recovering from injury, Robert Lewandowski played just under 60 minutes yesterday and will be a part of the team that makes the trip to Germany, as per the squad list released by Barcelona.
Marc Casado continues to get call-ups from Xavi, even though the manager prefers Fermin Lopez’s services over him.
Frenkie de Jong and Sergi Roberto are the only players still sidelined for Barcelona, with the former of utmost importance given the recent lack of control shown in the Catalan midfield.
