Barcelona have officially confirmed the return of Thiago Alcantara to the club, 11 years after departing as a player. The 33-year-old retired earlier this month after leaving Liverpool, and has joined Hansi Flick’s coaching staff.

As per their statement, Thiago will be with the club ‘all summer’ as he learns to be a coach himself, and will be on their preseason tour to the USA.
